With release KR011, Kolorit Records finishes a successful and exciting year 2011. Crek is back on the imprint with the “Make Me EP“, which will be available on beatport & other shop on thursday (2011-11-24). The EP is played/supported by Brodinski, Paco Osuna, Mosca, untitledmusic, Someone Else, Tom Budden, Hanne and Lore, Joy Kitikonti, Kiko Martinez, Maximiljan, Nicolas Masseyeff, Pierce, SNUFF CREW, Chris James, Da Funk, Franck Valat, Jesus Pablo, Mr. Ho and others.
The two tracks once again reflect his talent for light and easy grooving house music with a touch of oldschool influence, paired up with the vibe of his hometown Berlin. The main track “Make Me” is a typical example for Crek’s sound: funky, groovy to the top while being warm and personal. “My Dear” comes with a slowed down beat that makes heads nodding and feet moving, with a distant filtered disco hook rolling around it. The track has been remixed by Jorge Takei, who managed to give it a new spin with analogue synth fireworks and wooden percussion, while keeping the soul of the original alive.
